Bio
My name is Matthew Courtney. I'm currently in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. I enlisted in February 2016 and my ETS is July 2020. I had opportunities to play football out of high school, but chose to pursue other ventures in college. Serving in the Armed Forces has re-energized my love for the game and interest in playing in college.
In high school, I played wide receiver and outside linebacker. I won two state championships, my freshman and junior year. I was All-State Honorable Mention in the state of Oklahoma both as junior and a senior. I was voted Offensive Player of the year on my team my senior year.
