I was a three year varsity (2 year starter) player at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, CA. I began playing football my freshman year where I was not a starter for the first half of the season. I went from not playing at all my first year to starting at Cornerback and playing on every special team. My sophomore year I was named a starter at the beginning of the season eventually getting pulled up to play varsity. My junior year I wasn't named a backup in spring ball but earned a starting spot after my spring game performance on a team at one point ranked #15 in the state of California. I finished my junior year with 1 int, 8 pass deflections, 33 tackles and finished with All-League honors. My senior year I was named a starter at CB and finished the year with 1 int,, 8 pass def., 2 forced fumbles, 66 tackles, 1 sack, 1 field goal block, a member of the Senior Cabinet (Leadership Role), voted team MVP, and received All-League honors for a second year in a row.
